 Ms. Jeong was born in South Korea in 1968, especially in Busan where she accomplished all levels of education from elementary to college. In pursuit of her dream to become a teacher, she enrolled in Busan Teacher’s College and earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education from the same institution. With the full knowledge and enthusiasm for the Korean Education, she served Korean Elementary school as a teacher for about 12 years. And she’s awarded the national scholarship for outstanding and competent teachers in recognition of her genuine dedication to the quality education, which allowed her to earn another Master’s degree in TESOL at University of Tennessee in Knoxville. When returning to Korea from the U.S., she’s assumed a supervisor’s role in taking initiatives for advance of English education at Busan Metroplitan Education Office for 5 years. She’s currently serving Korean Education Center in Korean Consulate General in Chicago since the appointment by Ministry of Education to the position in 2011.
